Investing in You

Did you know all per capita payments made to you from your enrollment date until age 18 are deposited into your Minors Trust Fund account and your Minors Trust Fund is actually making money while you wait? This is an investment account.

Each per capita payment is known as principal. The EBCI guarantees you will receive, at a minimum, the full amount of principal when you exit the fund at age 25. Meanwhile, investment earnings on your account is called interest. Minors Trust Fund Statements are mailed quarterly from the Treasury Office. These statements show you the principal and interest earned in the account. If you have not received a statement in recent months, be sure to verify your mailing address is up to date with the Tribal Enrollment Office.
