The goal of the Qualla Housing Authority is to provide affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing for members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

- 12 Mutual Help homes conveyed
- Received 625 work orders; completed 604
- Loans: serviced 487 mortgage (portfolio), rehab, and DPA loans
New Construction
- 2 TSALAGI homes complete (Snowbird & Birdtown)
- 1 Mutual Help Rebuild (Wolftown)
- 1 HOME Rebuild (Birdtown)
- 2 Rehab units completed: 1 Mutual Help (Birdtown) and 1 Rental (Birdtown)
- 3 Partial Rental Rehabs (Birdtown, Painttown, and Wolftown)
Housing Services
- Rental: 144 total units: 29 Tsali Manor Apts. and 115 units in Birdtown, Wolftown, Snowbird, and Painttown Communities
- 60 new applications received
- 33 new families served
- 20 applications on waiting lists
- Homeownership:
- Rehab Homes – 28 applicants on waiting list (clients do not own land)
- TSALAGI – 22 applications received; 15 incomplete; 3 under review; 4 on waiting list
